Governance, overall average 3.2 of 5 — the earliest crack in the sequence. Identity is genuinely healthy across all three groups, so that’s not where this church needs to start. But the board rates Governance 4.1 out of 5, while the pastor and staff both land around 2.7. That’s not really a low score, it’s three people who don’t agree on who actually holds budget authority. Strategy and People read even lower, but both sit downstream of this gap. They won’t hold until Governance does.
